BALLYMALOE COOKERY SCHOOL

BALLYMALOE (pronounced "Bally-ma-loo") means the
"Town of Milk and Honey" or "Sweet Honey."

On a 100-acre organic farm in the middle of the Irish countryside, aspiring chefs from around the world arrive to attend and survive a 12 week culinary intensive.  This prestigious school has been around for 30 years and is led by Ireland's most renowned and beloved chef Darina Allen.

In 2011, we visited Ballymaloe on an epic trip to Ireland.  Here are some clips of the amazing and sprawling garden and school, complimented by the sounds of the roaring Irish winds.
